About

I’m a British-Danish editorial director, journalist and anthropologist based in Taiwan. At Newsweek, I write special reports on global industry, health and technology. My most recent reporting has focused on the evolution of agricultural technologies in Europe and the US , and advancements in semiconductor design, robotics and cybersecurity in Europe, Singapore and Taiwan.

I’m a contributing editor at Berlin fashion publication Œ Magazine, platforming emerging and experimental fashion creatives in Europe. My film and photograpy work documents social and environmental topics, and I’m a researcher in visual anthropology at the Eye and Mind audiovisual lab in Aarhus. Prior to that, I was the Editor-in-Chief of The Copenhagen Post

Topics I’ve covered include: what India’s booming private SpaceTech sector means for global astropolitics; how a small bohemian community is fighting gang crime in Copenhagen; why Danish asylum responses fail Syrian and Afghan refugees; and Denmark’s unethical expansion of North Sea oil drilling.

I’ve aided various other creative projects from Kinfolk‘s coffee table book The Eye: How the World’s Most Influential Creative Directors Develop Their Vision, to brand design for a Mediterranean eatery, reviewing opera and theatre, conference design at New York Climate Week, and editorial management for the fashion micro-community COLLAGE.

My narrative non-fiction is published by the journal Two Thirds North. I’m connected to Norwich, UNESCO World City of Literature.
