TotalEnergies’ new DKK 27 billion gas-extraction project in the Danish North Sea, part funded by the government, profits an elite few at the cost of climate. Largely unreported, Denmark’s unethical fossil fuel practices are flying under the radar, and dent the country’s reputation as a vanguard of the green transition.

In the EU’s race to carbon neutrality, agriculture has become a policy battleground. In Denmark, debate is about to begin on the new ‘green tax reform’ targeting farm production and food. This legislation will be crucial in Denmark's move to a climate-neutral economy and must pave the way for a long-sighted shift to regenerative agriculture.

At the start of February, it was the turn of Italy’s lesser-known fashion week, Altaroma, to present its crop of independent and emerging designers.
